Ananta township is an ambitious project in terms of the developer’s vision and its design objectives. The total development is planned on 32 acres of land at Soregaon, Solapur, that is further being developed in two phases. The clients envision building the greenest neighborhood in the otherwise polluted, developing district of Maharashtra and partnered with THE FIRM to achieve its goals.
The main entrance to the township in the form of a high inviting wall complimented with discerning landscape is an apt introduction to what unfolds inside. The entrance leading through 18 m wide arterial road is lined up with a belt of trees, shrubbery and flowering plants on either side. The footpath is exclusively kept for the pedestrians sans any utility structures which are carefully planned within the green belt itself. The residential plots are entered through the secondary 9 m roads. There is a longitudinal parcel of land dedicated to scenic countryside that would act as the green lungs of the neighborhood.
The clubhouse has been given prominence and sits at the corner plot in the master plan, having appreciation from all sides. The architecture of the clubhouse is iconic and seeks attention. It is the communal hub of activity having sports, health, cultural, entertainment, banquet and dining facilities, with the themed layout of flora appropriately lending it a beautiful backdrop.
The planning and architectural design done by the practice aimed to provide a comfortable, well-balanced lifestyle to the inhabitants. The master plan is efficient and consciously tries to minimize the impact of the development on the environment.
