The new DGVCL facility aims to boost its reputation with visitors and employees alike through modern design, improved amenities, advanced technology, and a strong focus on sustainability. It's set to redefine how DGVCL is viewed, emphasizing excellence and care across its operations.
The design has been meticulously informed by comprehensive studies such as shade and shadow analysis, as well as solar heat gain analysis. This approach not only enhances energy efficiency but also ensures that the indoor environment remains comfortable throughout the day.
Its north-south orientation ensures optimal natural light exposure across the building's primary surfaces. A thoughtfully planned landscape at the entrance creates a welcoming green space, while landscaping on the west side serves as a noise buffer from the adjacent road.
The central core located in the middle of the building divides its length into two parts, facilitating efficient circulation between floors and wings. Additionally, the central lobby not only serves as a circulation hub but also provides a convenient breakout space for users.
These design choices effectively balance natural light, heat control, and branding considerations throughout the building.
The west facade, deliberately opaque, not only enhances the visibility of company signage but also reduces heat gain significantly. On the south facade, emphasis is placed on solar shading to allow indirect sunlight, which is gentler and less harsh, contributing to a more comfortable internal environment.
The north facades are designed to maximize light penetration, leveraging low solar gains. Partial glazing on the east side, interspersed with solid panels, invites directional sunlight while minimizing heat gain.
